No. 01Dinner
Dinner first
Start with dinner, seated. For a sit-down meal there is the Sports Bar & Grill, which has accessible seating and opens every day at 11 AM. Its kitchen keeps cooking until 10 PM Sunday through Thursday, and until 11 PM on Friday and Saturday. Takeout orders go through 306-825-3777.
If dinner runs late, the Deli & Bar is the one still serving. From 11 AM until 2 AM each day, it offers quick casual bites, dishes from Kookum's Kitchen and a bar serving spirits and pints. Show your SIGA Rewards card when you pay, and a restaurant or deli order comes down by 10%.
No. 02The hours
The evening's clocks
Every day, the gaming floor opens at 10 AM. The floor closes at 3 AM from Sunday through Thursday, and holds on until 4 AM on Friday and Saturday. From Sunday through Thursday, play at the live tables runs from 4 PM to 2 AM, stretching to 3 AM on Friday and Saturday. Poker starts at 6 PM daily. Its closing time is not published, so after midnight, ask at the casino rather than assume a game is still running.
All hours in this guide are Lloydminster time. Lloydminster keeps one clock on both sides of the border, since Saskatchewan holds Central Standard Time (UTC-6) all year and always runs in step with Alberta. No holiday hours are published; before an evening out on a holiday, call 306-825-3777.

No. 03The door
Your party at the door
Because Gold Horse Casino sits in the Saskatchewan part of the city, the provincial age of 19 applies to every guest. At SIGA casinos, a person younger than 19 counts as a prohibited individual and is not eligible for winnings. Each box office event is also 19+.
Before you set out with a mixed-age party, note what is not published. The casino does not say which ID it asks for at the door, and it gives no age rule for the restaurants. Call 306-825-3777 and ask before the drive.

What is played
The slot floor holds more than 250 machines, in denominations of 1 cent, 5 cents, 25 cents, $1 and $5. The tables offer Poker, Chase the Flush, Blackjack and Bonus Spin Xtreme Power Up. No table count, stakes or tournament details are published for poker.
The interior draws on the area's oil and gas industry, using wood, metal and glass. Opened in December 2018 on Little Pine First Nation land, it was SIGA's seventh casino. It is operated by SIGA together with Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan; SIGA is a non-profit First Nations organization that puts all of its net proceeds back into Saskatchewan.
No. 05Show and RV nights
Show nights and RV nights

On a show night, you can pick up tickets at the Guest Services box office, which keeps hours from 10 AM to midnight all week. Events are all 19+, every sale is final with no refunds or exchanges, and accessible seating is available. The current lineup is listed on the casino's entertainment page.
The casino lists no hotel of its own, but its lot takes RVs overnight. Bring your SIGA Rewards card to Guest Services to register; final sign-off on the stay then comes from security or the Casino Shift Manager. Permits cover 3 days in total, and spots go to whoever arrives first. The lot is paved, has no power and allows no fire, and everyone staying must be 19 or older. Parking is free, and with no fixed-route transit in Lloydminster, arrange the ride home early.

Gambling online in Saskatchewan
In Saskatchewan, the only legal online gambling platform is PlayNow.com, which SIGA operates for players 19 and older. The Government of Saskatchewan refers to competing sites as illegal platforms, and the province licenses no private online casino. Private sites offer none of the province's player protections, and they are blocked by neither SIGA Voluntary Self-Exclusion nor Game Break.
Of all these pages, the front page alone holds paid links, and each is labelled Ad. All of them lead to one adults-only private online casino; The Evening Edit receives a commission from it, and that partner may change. It is not PlayNow.com and has no ties to the casino on 41st Street.
Online Play Beyond Gold Horse CasinoWhere to find help
- Trained counsellors staff the Saskatchewan Problem Gambling Helpline, 1-800-306-6789, 24 hours a day, offering confidential support to gamblers and their families.
- At any SIGA casino you may ask for SIGA Voluntary Self-Exclusion, which keeps a person out of all nine Saskatchewan casinos for 6 months up to 5 years.
- Once begun, SaskGaming's Game Break cannot be shortened; it lasts 6 months to 5 years and reaches every Saskatchewan casino plus PlayNow.com.
