The Evening Edit/Overnight

An RV Night at Gold Horse Casino

The casino in Lloydminster lists no hotel of its own, but its lot takes RVs overnight. These are the house rules for that night, set out in the order you will need them.

01

Signing in at Guest Services

All SIGA casinos welcome guests travelling in RVs, and Gold Horse Casino in Lloydminster is one of them. Before you settle in, go to the Guest Services desk with your SIGA Rewards card and register the stay. The card is required for this step, so keep it in a pocket, not at the back of the RV. Final approval of the stay then rests with security or the Casino Shift Manager.

Spaces go to whoever arrives first. There are no reservations, so a space is settled when you arrive and register. Each permit covers 3 days altogether. Stays beyond that need further approval, so mention a longer plan at the desk when you register.

Before you level the RV or open a window, bring your SIGA Rewards card to Guest Services. The stay starts with the registration, not with the parking.

House rules on the pavement

No power is available on the lot. Charge devices and top up what you need before you pull in for the evening. The lot is paved and no fire is permitted. Tenting is not permitted unless management approves it. Stabilizer jacks go on unpaved ground, never on the pavement itself.

Drinks follow two rules. Alcohol stays inside the vehicle, and drinks may not be carried into the casino. Leave the cup in the RV rather than walking it across the lot to the doors. On the lot, parties and loud music are not allowed. When the stay ends, waste goes to a provincially approved site.

03

Nineteen and over in the RV

For an overnight RV stay on the casino lot, every person aboard must be 19 or older. This applies to everyone who sleeps in the vehicle, not just the driver or whoever registered. Management can request ID from each guest in the RV, so every adult should have their own on hand. A party with anyone younger will need another place for the night.

04

Cars, and the ride home

Parking for cars is free and plentiful on the casino's lot beside the Yellowhead Highway. The trip home is what needs planning in advance. Lloydminster has no fixed-route public transit, and the casino lists neither a shuttle nor a taxi stand. If someone in your group will be driving, decide that before dinner. For questions about rides from the door, call 306-825-3777.

Q

Asked at the desk

Can I reserve an RV spot ahead of time?
No reservations are accepted. Spots go first come, first served, so when you arrive, bring your SIGA Rewards card to the Guest Services desk to register.
Is there power for the RV on the lot?
No power is available. Arrive with charged batteries and what you need for the night, and keep stabilizer jacks on unpaved ground, not on the pavement.
How many nights does a permit cover?
Each permit covers 3 days altogether. Longer stays need further approval, so raise the plan at Guest Services when you register.
Can my teenager sleep in the RV with us?
Not on the casino lot. Everyone sleeping aboard must be 19 or older, and management may ask each guest in the RV for ID.
