Who to call

  1. To reach the Saskatchewan Problem Gambling Helpline, dial 1-800-306-6789. Trained counsellors answer around the clock and in confidence, for people who gamble and for their families alike.
  2. Your request for SIGA Voluntary Self-Exclusion can be made at any SIGA casino, and the length is yours to set, from 6 months to 5 years. It covers all nine Saskatchewan casinos: the seven run by SIGA, plus Casinos Regina and Moose Jaw.
  3. Overseen by SaskGaming, Game Break is a voluntary and confidential self-exclusion that reaches every casino in Saskatchewan for a period of 6 months up to 5 years. PlayNow.com is included too, and after it takes effect it can be neither shortened nor removed.

An evening with an end

Every casino game is built with a house edge, so over an evening the expected result is a loss. Before the first table, it helps to settle on a spending limit and a set time to head home. Sunday through Thursday the floor closes at 3 AM; on Fridays and Saturdays, it carries on to 4 AM. The clock will not end the evening on a guest's behalf, so it is worth giving the night an ending of its own. Saskatchewan sets its legal gambling age at 19.

The Evening Edit desk

The Evening Edit desk writes and signs The Evening Edit as a group. Pages carry no personal byline, and no named author appears anywhere on the site.

Every black-and-white picture in this guide comes from an image generator, not a camera; four began as real photographs at Gold Horse Casino, shifted in angle and hour. Those four show the events room set for a dinner show, the main entrance under its timber frames after dark, and two tables. One, at the Sports Bar & Grill, holds steak salad and crème brûlée; the other holds late chicken wings with nachos. The golf green, RV lot and park trail were generated with nothing real behind them. The people in the scenes are invented.

The facts were verified on October 8, 2026. Sources were SIGA, the casino's own pages, the Government of Saskatchewan, the City of Lloydminster's local news and Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan. All hours given in the guide are Lloydminster time, and one clock serves the whole city.
